Lazza has long been one of the most sought-after artists in Italy. Both the numerous chart placings and nominations as well as the several hundred million streams testify to the popularity of Jacopo Lazzarini alias Lazza. The musician first became known in 2009 when he took part in a renowned rap competition. His debut Zzala was released in 2017 and achieved gold status. With the subsequent albums Re Mida, J, Sirio and the current album Locura from 2024, the Milan native spent weeks at the top of the charts.
