In Extremo, founded in Berlin in 1995, have sold more than 1.5 million records according to Wikipedia, with four German number-one studio albums: Sängerkrieg (2008), Sterneneisen (2011), Quid Pro Quo (2016), and Kompass zur Sonne (2020). Their most recent studio album, Wolkenschieber, reached number two on the German charts in September 2024. Feuerschwanz, formed in Erlangen in 2004, placed two consecutive albums at number one in Germany: Memento Mori (2021) and Fegefeuer (2023). Their twelfth studio album, Knightclub, reached number two in Germany in August 2025. Two bands, two full shows, one night — eight cities across Germany.
Before the 2027 arena run, In Extremo also tour acoustically across Europe from November to December 2026, stopping in Vienna, Munich, Nürnberg, Stuttgart, Berlin, Hamburg, Zürich, Frankfurt, and further cities on the Tranquilo II Akustik Tour 2026.
