Inga Rumpf & Friends tickets for the 80th anniversary season 2026/2027: three confirmed shows in Worpswede, Oldenburg and Hamburg. On 29 August 2026, Inga Rumpf & Friends play the Music Hall Worpswede for the «Get Together – 80th Special». On 9 December 2026, the Kulturetage in Oldenburg follows. A further date is set for 23 April 2027 at the Downtown venue in Hamburg. The landmark birthday concert «Inga 80 – Inga Rumpf & Friends + Very Special Guests» on 13 September 2026 at the Elbphilharmonie Hamburg sold out within days of announcement and will be released as a live album on CD, vinyl and digital by earMUSIC later in 2026.Inga Rumpf turned 80 on 2 August 2026, yet her voice and stage presence remain as commanding as ever. Born in Hamburg, she launched her career in the 1960s with the City Preachers before fronting Frumpy, which Musikexpress named the best German rock group in 1971. With Atlantis she toured the United States alongside Lynyrd Skynyrd and Aerosmith, and she also shared stages with B.B. King, Lionel Richie and Santana. She wrote «I Wrote A Letter», recorded by Tina Turner for her 1982 comeback single «Let's Stay Together». In 1987 she jammed with Keith Richards and Ronnie Wood in London. Across a career spanning more than six decades she has released over 40 albums, including the studio album «Universe Of Dreams» with her band Friends. The German Blues Award «Best Female Singer» at the Baltic Blues Festival in Eutin confirmed her standing as one of Germany's most respected voices in rock, blues and gospel.
