Red Hot Chili Peppers tickets for the 2026 world tour

Following their highly successful 2023 world tour, rumours are growing that the Red Hot Chili Peppers are currently working on a new album!

Will there be a Red Hot Chili Peppers tour in 2026 or 2027?
For decades, the Red Hot Chili Peppers have been one of the most energetic live acts in rock. Their performances combine funk, rock, spontaneous improvisation and a dash of humour to create a unique experience – often as surprising as a sudden guitar feedback scream from John Frusciante.

School friends Anthony Kiedis, Michael ‘Flea’ Balzary, Hillel Slovak and Jack Irons celebrated their first joint performance in February 1983 as ‘Tony Flow and the Miraculously Majestic Masters of Mayhem’, more as a fun project. After their second gig, they renamed themselves Red Hot Chili Peppers, linking the band to classic blues and jazz band names. The Red Hot Chili Peppers quickly made a name for themselves in their hometown of L.A., helped by their eccentric stage presence, which included performing naked with only a sock covering their private parts. In August 1984, the Red Hot Chili Peppers released their debut album of the same name. Further albums followed until 1989, but these were hardly successful. It was not until the release of their 1991 album ‘Blood Sugar Sex Magik’ that the Red Hot Chili Peppers achieved commercial success. The CD sold more than 15 million copies worldwide and propelled the Californians to number 1 in the charts in Australia, Canada and New Zealand. The single ‘Under The Bridge’ became a hit and is still one of the band's best-known songs today. In 1999, the Red Hot Chili Peppers released their most successful album to date, ‘Californication’. But ‘By the Way’ from 2002 and ‘Stadium Arcadium’ four years later also sold millions worldwide and earned numerous gold and platinum awards. Songs such as ‘Scar Tissue,’ ‘Otherside,’ ‘Dani California’ and ‘Snow (Hey Oh)’ also achieved high chart positions internationally. Over their 38-year music career, the Red Hot Chili Peppers have received numerous awards, including six Grammys and three Echos. The Californians have also been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame since 2012.
The musical career of the Red Hot Chili Peppers has not only been marked by several personnel changes, but also by the drug addiction of individual members in the early years. In 1988, guitarist Hillel Slovak died of an overdose, leaving the band on the brink of collapse. Today, the band consists of former founders Kiedis and Flea, Chad Smith and John Frusciante, who rejoined the band in 2019.
