"Immortal": David Garrett reinterprets the great classics
The musical centerpiece of the new tour is David Garrett's album "Immortal", which was released on October 9, 2026 by Deutsche Grammophon.
With the album, the violinist tackles some of the most significant compositions in music history. His goal is to make well-known masterpieces newly experienceable for today's audience without losing their original character.

In doing so, Garrett combines his extraordinary virtuosity with emotional expressiveness and modern musical arrangements.

The album contains 20 tracks in the standard version and 25 pieces in the deluxe edition. All arrangements were crafted by David Garrett himself, with support from musicians and arrangers Franck van der Heijden and John Haywood. On the Immortal Classic Tour 2027, selected compositions from the album will also be heard live. A final setlist for the individual concerts has not yet been released.

David Garrett: From classical prodigy to international star violinist
Even as a child he demonstrated an extraordinary musical talent. At the age of just 13 he secured an exclusive contract with the renowned record label Deutsche Grammophon.
Throughout his career he developed a distinctive style that made classical music accessible to a broad audience.

Garrett became especially known for his spectacular crossover interpretations, where he blends works of classical composers with well-known pop and rock songs.
His passion for classical violin music has always remained a core part of his artistic work.

With the new album Immortal and the accompanying concert tour, he now brings this classical side back into the spotlight.
