According to insiders, bassist Cliff Williams will unfortunately not be there. Although he announced his retirement in 2016, he returned for the album "Power Up" (2020) and the Power Trip Festival 2023. There is speculation that AC/DC will go on tour with a new bass player, although the name has not been announced.
Further concerts appear to be planned after the European tour. AC/DC are also scheduled to play four concerts in South America, including two at the Morumbi Stadium in São Paulo and two at the Rock in Rio Festival in Rio de Janeiro.
The rock legends last visited Europe in 2015 and 2016 as part of their "Rock or Bust" tour. Now AC/DC have announced their return to the stage for the first time. The original plan was for the band to perform at the Power Trip Festival in Indio in 2023. Unfortunately, this performance had to be cancelled as Ozzy Osbourne was unable to attend. Nevertheless, fans hoped that this was a signal that the heavy metal veterans would soon be visiting Germany and Europe again. Now it could be time!
