Fans have had to wait three long years for these news, but now the long-awaited announcement has finally come: BTS have announced their comeback for 2026. After a forced break due to military service, the South Korean boy band is returning to the stage. Not only is a new album planned for next year, but also an accompanying tour. The concerts are set to begin in July 2026.

They made K-pop popular worldwide! The seven guys, whose abbreviated group name has several meanings – Bangtan Boys, Sonyeondan Boys or Behind The Scenes – have been conquering not only the charts but also the hearts of teenagers around the globe since their formation in 2010. Before RM (Kim Nam Joon), Suga (Min Yoon-gi), Jin (Kim Seok-in), Jimin (Park Ji-min), V (Kim Taehyung), J-Hope (Jung Ho-seok) and Jungkook (Jeon Jeong-guk) joined forces to form BTS, each of the boy band members had different musical or dance careers. It was only through the ‘Hit It’ casting by their label Big Hit Entertainment that the South Koreans got to know each other in 2010/2011. In 2013, BTS released their debut single ‘No More Dream’.

2018 was the most successful year ever for BTS. They are considered the most famous K-pop group, have won numerous awards and appeal to teenagers around the world with their mix of hip-hop, rock and pop ballads.

This tour is projected to include about 65 shows worldwide which is reportedly their largest to date. Following a military service the band is said to release a new album a few months prior to the start of the tour. Fans can expect a full group reunion on stage and well as a mix of new songs and old favourites. BTS have blown fans away with their energetic stage presence and strong visuals.
